Introduction

In this installation guide we have provided step-by-step instructions to remove and replace the 27WON Air Filter for 27WON Intake System.

  1. First and foremost; THANK YOU for being a part of the 27WON Family. We hope to REDEFINE your experience of the aftermarket well beyond your first purchase of a new part

    • The following instructions were written on 2018 Civic Si for all 10th gen turbo Civic's with the 1.5L and 27WON CAI system already installed

  2. Open the hood and locate your airbox and airbox lid

    • Open the hood and locate your airbox and airbox lid

  3. Using the 3mm Allen tool remove the 4x screws securing the lid to the airbox Remove the lid and set aside with the 4x screws for reinstall later

    • Using the 3mm Allen tool remove the 4x screws securing the lid to the airbox

    • Remove the lid and set aside with the 4x screws for reinstall later

  4. Using the 10mm socket and ratchet loosen the 10mm lock nut on the t-bolt clamp

    • Using the 10mm socket and ratchet loosen the 10mm lock nut on the t-bolt clamp

    • Pull filter forward off of velocity stack and lift up and out of airbox

  5. Now is a great time to clean your air box. Simply use a microfiber towel to wipe down the inside of you airbox to remove any dust

    • When re-installing your air filter be careful not to deform the air box to a point of deformation by over-tightening the clamp. Doing so can cause the air box to crack and the air filter to fall off

  7. Swap the clamp over from the old filter to the new filter Install filter with clamp into the airbox and over the velocity stack

    • Swap the clamp over from the old filter to the new filter

    • Install filter with clamp into the airbox and over the velocity stack

    • Verify the filter is fully over the velocity stack all the way around

    • Filter can fall off is this is not done correctly

    • Orient clamp with nut as shown. Tighten the t-bolt clamp down

  8. Reinstall the airbox lid and secure it with the 4x screws removed earlier. Torque the 4x screws to snug

    • Reinstall the airbox lid and secure it with the 4x screws removed earlier. Torque the 4x screws to snug

    • "Torque to snug" is defined as 1/4 to 1/2 more rotation after setting resistance is felt

  9. This completes the replacement of your 27WON Air Filter
